Flying House is a not-for-profit company (NPC) registered with CIPC and based in Johannesburg, run by three women with backgrounds in theatre, scenography, arts education and creative industries. Our vision is a society in which creativity and imagination are valued, and artists can create freely, sustainably and in alignment with ecological principles. Our mission is to research, design and build spaces, experiences and processes that help people to connect, create, innovate and grow.

We are committed to new ways of understanding and helping community-based arts projects to find sustainable patterns of growth and production within an ecosystems paradigm.
